Terms of use

Using data

If you produce a product or publication from the data please read the limitations about the data and terms of disclaimer. In each case we require a minimum of the following:

• An acknowledgment such as Data provided by Augusto González de Linares buoy, Instituto Español de Oceanografía (I.E.O.).
• If delivered via a web site, a link to the buoys web site.
• An E-mail to boya_agl@st.ieo.es indicating the publication title, product description or URL.

Linking to the buoys website

Links from external web sites are allowed. Please send us an E-mail to boya_agl@st.ieo.es to indicate you URL for our records.

What you are not allowed to do

• Please do not pass on data to other parties. Every user needing access to historical data should register first.
• You are not allowed to put the data directly on to a web site, publish it or pass it off as own data.
• You are not allowed to make commercial use of the data. If you want to do so, please contact us first.

Privacy

Data provided by visitors is considered confidential. You can requets access, correction or deletion of them. For this purpose please contact us at the address below.
